About us

At Little Children Day Homes, we provide a nurturing and supportive home-based childcare environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to grow. We proudly support families by offering access to the Alberta Child Care Subsidy and the Affordability Grant, helping make quality childcare more accessible.

Our program welcomes children who:

  • Are 0 months to 12 years of age

  • Live within Family Day Home regions, including Calgary and Southern Alberta

  • Are eligible for the Alberta Child Care Subsidy and/or the Affordability Grant, or are privately funded

  • Require full-time, part-time, or before and after school care

  • Have individual and family needs that can be supported through our programs

Space Availability


Spaces are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, depending on availability.
If all spaces are currently full, your child will be placed on a waiting list. When a space becomes available, children are offered spots from the waiting list while keeping age groups balanced in each day home.

Holding a Space


If you would like to reserve a space for your child, a $250 non-refundable deposit is required.
If your child attends our program, the deposit will be applied to your first month’s fees
If you decide not to proceed with care, the deposit will be non-refundable
